Thanks to Michaela and her son for coming out!  I had a great time working with the two of them.

I wanted to thank Samantha for coming out and helping me break in the new studio.  She did an awesome job and we captured a bunch of wonderful photos.

Winter time with a nice coating of snow on the ground offers a wonderful opportunity for photographing dogs.  Unless you have a white dog, the snow will offer beautiful contrast against your dogs coat.  Below are just a few photos from today.

I was honored to photograph Shyla’s senior photos at Franklin Park.  The weather was cold so we made use of the warm conservatory before heading out for some beautiful winter photos in the snow.

A big thanks to Cara and her Mom for coming out to brave the cold for some mid January photography!  Although the weather was cold, I think we got some wonderful photos.  Here’s just a few as I’m starting to edit them.

I spent the afternoon photographing the Ohio Statehouse.  The architecture is absolutely stunning.  The attention to detail is amazing.  If you’re ever in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit.  Below are just a few photos from the day.  I’m going to put together a gallery of these, and many more, over the next few days.  I’ll be sure to announce when it’s available.

With the snow and cold, I really enjoy looking back at my summer photos.  Here’s one of my buddy Phil as we were paddling up the Licking River.  Wow….I can hardly wait for warmer weather.

Today was a cold and snowy day in Ohio.  I headed up to Highbanks park to hopefully capture some of the winter weather.  The snow was coming down so hard that taking photos was difficult at best.  I did manage to capture a few photos with one that I’m very happy with.  The final photo posted here of the ranger plowing snow is my favorite by far.  I just happened to turn around as he came around the corner with snow flying everywhere.  With only a moment to get the photo, I lucked out.

This first photo is looking up Olentangy River, which is mostly frozen over.

A couple of photos from today taken near the Ohio Supreme Court building.

These photos were taken just a couple of weeks ago at Dillon State Park.  Winter came in with a real bang this year….the lake has completely frozen over before the end of December.

Had a beautiful winter day here in Ohio.  Although it was on the cold side, the sun was shining and the skies were blue.  I took a little trip downtown to see what I could find.

Did some family photos with the Ike family.  Although the fall season is getting late, we were blessed with some beautiful weather.  We had a great time and got some nice photos to prove it.

Spent a couple of hours hanging out with Sophia and just getting some candid photos of her throughout the afternoon.  She’s constantly on the go and super cute while she’s at it.

A beautiful young gal who is a senior in high school this year.  We had a fairly impromptu shoot at a local park.  Thankfully, there was still some Autumn colors and leaves left on the trees.

The next photo is my brother and sitster-in-law with the super cute Sophia.  I took the family portrait and overlaid 3 candids of Dad with baby.  I think this photo may go on my wall somewhere

I was honored to photograph 3 separate families this past weekend.  The first was a very cute little gal, Kylee.  She was a little shy to start with but she warmed up nicely.

Next, my beautiful niece, Sophia.  As always, she was cute as a button and did her part to create some super cute photos…..I only wish we had more time because I could photograph her for hours. This pic is Sophia and Daddy….for some reason, I just find it beyond adorable

Finally, we’ve got Caden.  He’s an extremely cute 1 year old boy.  And like a young boy, he’s ready to explore the world and doesn’t want to be held back……gotta be on the go.  He has a particular affection for sticks, dirt and leaves.
