Starting 2008…

Well, we’re off with the new year.  The winter months can be tough for me when it comes to photography.  Most people aren’t planning weddings or events during the winter and the beautiful outdoor locations are now often colorless and gray.  Many people just don’t think about photos from January thru April.  This gives me some time to focus on different types of photography.  One thing I do enjoy is macro photography….this is the art of taking close….very close up photos.  It allows us to see things in a way that is completely different from everyday life.  The best part about it is that it can be done anywhere.  A simple visit to the kitchen yields countless opportunities.  Everything from bugs to food…macro photography offers a virtual limitless amount of subjects.  As an example, here’s a tiny spider I happened to run accross.
